Adding a New Page
PRO TIP 🚀
Use the test cases below to test your ScandiPWA App!
The process of adding a new content page to your store is essentially the same for any type of page you might want to create. You can include text, images, blocks of content, variables, and widgets.
To create a new page, go to Content > Elements > Pages and click on Add New Page.
ScandiPWA supports the most popular settings for creating CMS pages:
Determines whether the page is published.
Determines the Page Title that appears in the breadcrumb trail navigation.
Custom Design Update
By default, Magento offers an ability for a custom design update for CMS pages. The feature will be supported in the upcoming releases.
Determines the heading that you want to appear at the top of the page.
Type all the content you want to appear on the page. Insert widgets and blocks of your choice.
When the page is saved, a default URL key is created that is based on the Content Heading. You can accept the default, or enter another URL Key.
NOTE! When the URL key is changed, do not forget to update the link to the page in your CMS block on the storefront.
Enter a Meta Title for the page. The Meta Title should be less than seventy characters in length and appears in the browser title bar and tab.
Enter high-value keywords that search engines can use to index the page
Enter a brief description of the page for search results listings.
Determines the store view(s) where the page is to be available.
By default, Magento offers users the ability to use a specific design for CMS pages. The feature will be supported in the upcoming releases.
The elements will be updated on the front-end immediately after save as they are part of the ScandiPWA caching solution that will invalidate caching entries for the updated content. No cache flush or any other manual operations are necessary. Content will be visible after page refresh and a new cache entry will be stored.
