Downloadable Product

A downloadable product can be anything that you can deliver as a file, such as an eBook, music, video and etc.

Because the actual download is not available until after the purchase, you can provide samples, such as an excerpt from a book, a clip from an audio file, or a trailer from a video that the customer can try before purchasing the product. The files that you make available for download can be either uploaded to your server or from a different server.

To create a downloadable product:

1. Complete the Required Settings

2. Complete the Basic Settings

3. Add Downloadable Information:

Field	Status	Description
Links can be purchased separately	SUPPORTED	Determines whether the links can buy separately or together
Title	SUPPORTED	Determines the title that is visible on the front-end Notes: The same for Link and Sample
File	SUPPORTED	There are following methods of distribution for the downloads: Upload File URL Notes: The same for Link and Sample
Shareable	SUPPORTED	Possibility to share the download link with others.
Max. Downloads.	SUPPORTED	Limit downloads per customer

4. Complete the Product Information. To see, which settings are supported by ScandiPWA, refer to Product Settings.

5. When complete, tap Save.

Caching Note After any change, the product will be updated on the Front-End immediately after save as they are part of the ScandiPWA caching solution that will invalidate caching entries for the updated content. No cache flush or any other manual operations are necessary. Content will be visible after page refresh and new cache entry will be stored.
