Adding Product Video

With the ScandiPWA theme, you are welcome to add video content to your products and use all the default Magento settings out-of-the-box!
FIELD | STATUS | DESCRIPTION |
URL | SUPPORTED | The URL of the associated video. |
Title | SUPPORTED | The video title. |
Description | SUPPORTED | The video description. |
Preview Image | SUPPORTED | An uploaded image that is used as a preview of the video in your store. |
Role | SUPPORTED | Determines how the preview image is used in your store. Available options: Base, Small, Thumbnail, or "Hide from Product Page". |
Caching Note
The product will be updated on the front-end immediately after save as they are part of the ScandiPWA caching solution that will invalidate caching entries for the updated content. No cache flush or any other manual operations are necessary. Content will be visible after page refresh and a new cache entry will be stored.
