<div align="left"><img src="/files/-MKEyxCOa6DsKTgaFDM7" alt=""></div>

The sample Privacy Policy page is by default created in ScandiPWA and can be modified for your website.

On the storefront, the link to the Privacy Policy page is located in the footer. By default, the URL to the page is hardcoded in the theme. To change the content in the footer block, please refer to [Content Customization](/v5.2.7-1/progressive-web-app/color-and-content-customization.md#ColorandContentCustomization-ContentCustomization).&#x20;

### To edit your privacy policy:  <a href="#privacypolicy-toedityourprivacypolicy" id="privacypolicy-toedityourprivacypolicy"></a>

1. On the Admin sidebar, tap **Content**. Then under *Elements*, choose **Pages**.
2. Find **Privacy and Cookie Policy**. Then in the **Action** column, set **Select** to **Edit**

4. When complete, tap **Save Page**&#x20;

**Caching Note**

The content of the page will be updated on the Front-End immediately after save as they are part of the ScandiPWA caching solution that will invalidate caching entries for the updated content. No cache flush or any other manual operations are necessary. Content will be visible after page refresh and new cache entry will be stored.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://manual.scandipwa.com/v5.2.7-1/basic-configuration/industry-compliance/privacy-policy.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
